International Missionaries: Betty Ann and I were appointed International Missionaries by the Southern Baptist Convention. In 1983 we planted two new churches in Australia. In 1991 one in Europe - The International Baptist Church of Cologne, Germany. We retired in 1996 from Cologne and moved into a 40 foot motor home which we have lived in for 12 years now. We have travelled to every state in the U.S. except two. And one year we spoke in 108 different churches I now stay busy doing interim pastorates. I’ve served in California, Arizona, Kansas, Nebraska and Wisconsin. The Lord has given me the wonderful gift of exhortation and Betty Ann and I have been used to encourage churches that were very discouraged and get them excited about serving the Lord once again. This is a thumbnail sketch of my work in retirement. I keep planning to relax and retire but I never have time. So long as our good health holds out we plan to continue allowing the Lord to use us any way He wants.
It’s exciting to see God at work and also get to be a little part of it all.
