Know His Word
and Know Him
Jesus came so we could know Him. That starts with a reconciled relationship with God, when we put our trust in Jesus’ death and resurrection. Then begins a life lived in the presence of God, where we grow to know Him better. Through His Word He reveals Himself to us, so we could trust Him and experience His power working in and through us. Every Christian is therefore to be a student of God’s Word. He has also given us His Spirit that works through His church to help us understand His Word and respond to it.
TBT (Through the Bible Together)

TBT is IBCC’s approach to Word ministry. We teach through the whole Bible, both Old and New Testaments. It is one story, covering events like the creation; the fall; God’s choice of Abraham; the reign of King David; the birth of Jesus of Nazareth; the missionary adventures of the Apostle Paul…

We support one another as we learn. Each week, our church community gathers around the same Bible text. Our homegroups (Life Groups) discuss the same passage as was taught during our Sunday gathering, and our activities and material for the children is based on the same content. With TBT, we approach the study of the Bible as a whole community.
